As more people are trying CBD for their Health, you may be curious if it can help you, among many of the other questions you may have about CBD. I want to answer some common questions here:
1. Question: Why would I consider CBD for my Health?
Answer: The whole point of taking CBD Oil is to bring homeostasis (balance) back to the mind and body via the endocannabinoid system. Virtually every organism on Earth has an endocannabinoid system moderated by cannabinoids like CBD.
However, this complex network of receptors is commonly starving, and experiencing a “Cannabinoid Deficiency” in today’s environmental conditions.
Studies have shown the Endocannabinoid system is most abundant in the brain and immune system, and is responsible for important functions such as sleep, relaxation, inflammatory responses, cognitive ability and an endless list of other major functions within the body. So naturally when our system is experiencing this deficiency, these normal bodily functions can become out-of-wack per se.
2. Question: What can I expect when I start taking CBD?
Answer: CBD works with your endocannabinoid system in an interesting way; the more you consume it, the more receptive your body becomes to it. It might take some people a couple of months of continuous CBD consumption in order to fully experience the benefits of the compound. For others, they may experience effects right away. You may have different experiences with CBD from your peers because each body’s biological makeup & balance within homeostasis is different.
Also to note: CBD does NOT make you high and you will probably not feel any immediate effects when taking it. Rather, you may gradually notice the absence of some of your ailments.
3. Question: Is CBD Safe?
Answer: CBD is a natural substance that “is non-toxic in non-transformed cells and does not induce changes on food intake, does not induce catalepsy, does not affect physiological parameters (heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature), does not affect gastrointestinal transit and does not alter psychomotor or psychological functions. Also, chronic use and high doses up to 1,500 mg/day of CBD are reportedly well tolerated in humans.” More Safety information from the WHO here.
4. Question: Is CBD Addictive?
Answer: In contrast to pharmaceutical antidepressants, CBD does not have addictive properties. You can start and stop using it at any time without side effects. In fact, CBD is even being tested to help treat addiction. Keeping in mind that addiction involves maladaptive learning of rewarded behaviors, we see how CBD can help as the Endocannabinoids “act in these areas as a hedonic signal, by which we feel pleasure and learn to repeat behaviors that are rewarding to us” (Devries ands Schoffelmeer 2005; Mahler, Smith, and Berridge 2007, Gerdeman et al. 2003b).
I have been taking this for about 4 months and feel it helps with sleep, pain, and especially anxiety. I ran out and I could feel the difference in all areas mentioned.
I have also been giving a dropper a day of the pet oil to my 10 year old boxer. He ran out as well and was limping again within days.
Great product!! Thank you!!

5. Question: Is it safe to drink Alcohol while taking CBD?
Answer: Alcohol has been shown to cause damage to the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain, in particular by inducing neuroinflammatory mediators and/or oxidative stress. These brain regions are known to be associated with problem solving, attention, information processing, learning, and memory.
Since CBD has neuroprotective effects that prevent oxidative damage, it has been considered for the treatment of cognitive impairments caused by alcohol.
6. Question: Can I take CBD if I am on Painkillers?
Answer: “Since opioids are the only therapy for severe pain, analgesic ability of cannabinoids may provide a much-needed alternative to opioids. Moreover, cannabinoids act synergistically with opioids and act as opioid sparing agents, allowing lower doses and fewer side effects from chronic opioid therapy. Thus, rational use of cannabis based medications deserves serious consideration to alleviate the suffering of patients due to severe pain.” Elikkottil, Jaseena et al. “The analgesic potential of cannabinoids.” Journal of opioid management vol. 5,6 (2009): 341-57.
“As a gift, I was given a 1000mg salve for my pain because I’m recovering still from a slipped disk that activated my sciatica (according to the physical therapist). Now I have taken CBD oil before and nothing worked, and after 3 months of Ibuprofen and Tylenol, I did not want to destroy my liver and stomach and just deal with the uncomfortable pain and sensations from recovery.
I was shocked and ecstatic at how well this salve worked. I mean, I no longer need my 5% lidocaine patches and just use the salve instead. I mean, icy hot and bio-freeze didn’t work for me either, and since a majority of my job is janitorial I need movement, and lidocaine patches under clothes are horrible and I even put it on before bed sometimes and it doesn’t make my sheets wreak like chemicals.CHestopher on Golden Bee Hemp Extra Strength Pain SAlve
Oh, and it absorbs into the skin after a while, so no oil residue and you don’t even need that much. I can go on and on and how my life is back to normal, but I will say thank you with all my heart. You have gained a lifetime customer.”
7. Question: What Should I look for in CBD Products?
Answer: When it comes to CBD products, quality is EVERYTHING. In this rapidly growing industry there are many companies basically selling lessor quality oil slapped with a label claiming to be “high-quality CBD.”
Extraction method of Cannabinoids from the Cannabis plant is a critical step in the process that can make or break the availability of Cannabinoids in your product. Using the most advanced extraction equipment and technology, each batch of our company’s CBD oil is CO2 extracted at low temperatures. These low temperatures ensure that the extraction process is safe and gentle, preserving all the beneficial cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids that are naturally present in high-quality CBD oil.
Whole Plant, Broad Spectrum & Full Spectrum CBD oils are known to contain other cannabinoids, terpenes, essential oils, and amino acids that work in harmony to create beneficial effects. This is known as the entourage effect.
8. Question: Does it matter how I take my CBD?
Answer: Yes. For optimal drug delivery, the buccal (cheek) and sublingual (under the tongue) dosage forms must remain in contact with oral mucosa for a time of 60 to 90 seconds.
A common problem associated with trans mucosal administration via the buccal(cheek) route, is swallowing the dose due to the continuous secretion of saliva in the oral cavity. More specifically, the dosage form must not be washed away by saliva into the gastrointestinal tract.
The following is how we take our True Natural Oils tinctures:.

-750mg /30ml product TRUE WELLNESS 25mg/ml. – dose 1 ml up to 2 ml in the evening for restful sleep. 0.5 ml = (1/2 dropperful) hold under tongue for 1minute to optimize absorption.
9. Question: Can I develop a Tolerance to CBD?
Answer: No. In 2000, there was a study published by The Kennedy Center of Rheumatology titled, “The Nonpsychoactive Cannabis Constituent Cannabidiol is an Oral Anti-arthritic Therapeutic in Murine Collagen-induced Arthritis”. The study reports that “prolonged treatment with CBD does not induce tolerance, a phenomenon often observed by cannabinoids”. This means that in contrast to many Pharmaceuticals, you will not develop a tolerance, or a reduction in efficacy as you use Cannabinoids in the treatment of your ailments. The study ends by summarizing, “all of this suggests that CBD may be valuable in the treatment of other chronic inflammatory diseases as well.”
10. Question: Is CBD effective topically?
Answer: CBD topical application is considered the latest breakthrough in managing joint pain and inflammation. Together with its highly effective pain relieving properties, it possesses systemic absorption as well.
CBD is absorbed through the skin where it binds to the body’s own CB2 receptors. Once it connects with these receptors, CBD has a pain relieving and anti- inflammatory effect on the body at the site of application.
Topical CBD was also found effective in alleviating the symptoms of the following conditions: oxidative stress on dermal cells, skin conditions characterized by inflammation and keratin disorders, such as eczema or atopic dermatitis, wound healing, pain & muscle relief, itch (pruritis), Acne/Seborrhea, modulation of hair growth, skin & hair pigmentation, oral care, and other skin disorders such as antibiotic-resistant skin infections, cutaneous malignancies such as Melanoma, and Psoriatic Plaques.
